This Privacy Policy explains how Dalya Kids, developed by SCS Legends ("we", "our"), collects, uses, stores, and protects user data. By using the app, you agree to this policy.
Dalya Kids is an interactive storytelling app designed for children aged 7-12. We place special emphasis on protecting children's privacy and commit to comply with the following regulations: COPPA (United States), GDPR-K (EU and UK children's data regulations), KVKK (Türkiye), and Google Play Designed for Families program policies.
1. Data We Collect
Dalya Kids puts your privacy first. We collect only the following limited data:
- App usage statistics: Which stories are read, scene progress, and user preferences (stored locally on your device).
- Purchase information: Dalya Pro subscription status is managed via RevenueCat. We do not store your payment details; payments are processed directly by Google Play.
- Anonymous analytics data: Anonymous device type, country, and session duration via Firebase Analytics. Contains no personal identifiers.
- Crash reports: In case of app crashes, anonymous technical information (device model, Android version, error stack trace) is sent to Firebase Crashlytics.
We do not collect any personal data from children. No name, surname, email, date of birth, location, photo, voice recording, or contact information is requested.
2. How We Use Data

- To maintain app security and integrity
We never use data for advertising, profiling, or third-party marketing purposes.
3. Data Retention Period
- Locally stored data: Automatically cleared when the app is uninstalled.
- Anonymous analytics data: Retained by Firebase Analytics for 14 months, then automatically deleted.
- Subscription information: Retained during active subscription and for 90 days after subscription termination for legal compliance.
- Crash reports: Retained for 90 days.
4. Third-Party Services
The app uses the following third-party services:

5. International Data Transfer
The third-party services listed above have servers located in the United States and the European Union. Your data may be transferred to these countries. All transfers are conducted over encrypted channels in compliance with GDPR and KVKK standards.
6. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)
Dalya Kids is designed for children aged 7-12 and adheres to the following child protection rules:
- We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (COPPA).
- Additional protections apply to data of children under 16 (GDPR-K).
- The app contains no third-party advertising.
- The app contains no social interaction, chat, or external link sharing features.
- Payment flows accessible to children are protected by a parental verification gate.
- We do not use ad tracking, behavioral profiling, or retargeting.

7. Data Security
We apply industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
- All data transmissions are encrypted with TLS/HTTPS
- Firebase Storage and Firestore use Google's security infrastructure
- Access control lists (ACL) prevent unauthorized access
- Sensitive operations (purchases, subscription management) are handled through secure payment providers
However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
8. Your Rights
Under COPPA, GDPR, and KVKK, you have the following rights:
- Request access to data held about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Object to data processing activities
- Request data portability
- Withdraw your consent
- File a complaint with the relevant data protection authority

9. Policy Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be published on this page and the "Last updated" date will be revised. For significant changes, you will be notified via in-app notification. If you do not wish to accept the new version of the policy, you may stop using the app.
